Safety & Protection
Infection Control
Cuff Style: Straight, reinforced cuff
Viral Penetration: Manufactured to quality management systems of ISO 9001,
ISO 13485, FDA-QSR, EN 46001 and CE certification
Meets or exceeds ASTM standards
Tear Resistance: 24.0 before aging (3480);
18.0 after aging (2610);
MPa ( p.s.i. minimum).
This is a measure of the force needed to break a glove film. The unit of measure is pounds per square inch (psi) or megapascals.
A stronger glove provides a better barrier (less in-use breakage).
Skin Protection
Protein Content: This latex glove contains 50 micrograms or less of total water-extractable protein per gram.
Comfort & Fit
Donning
Double Donnability: This glove can be used as an under glove or an over glove depending upon the users preference
Hand Fatigue
Stretchability (Modulus): Modulus 500% -MPa ( p.s.i. maximum);
5.5 (800) before aging;
N/A after aging.
The modulus refers to how much a glove squeezes the hand in a stretched state.
A very low modulus glove will feel baggy and a high modulus glove will feel tight. Latex has a modulus that provides great comfort without it being baggy.
Tactile Sensitivity
Thickness: 9.1 (0.23) Fingertips
8.7 (0.22) Palm
9.8 (0.25) Cuff
Feeling: The glove is recommended for the majority of procedures
Texture: Textured
Grip
Application Driven: A textured finish means unequalled reliability when using certain orthopaedic instruments that require greater gripping capability.
This product contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions.
This latex glove contains 50 micrograms or less of total water-extractable protein per gram.
CAUTION: Safe use of this glove by or on latex-sensitized individuals has not been established.
