Infection Control
Cuff Sytle: These gloves feature Ansell's patent-pending SureFit Technology. SureFit™ prevents cuff rull-down providing surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals with superior protection during operating room procedures.
Viral Penetration: Although not an FDA requirement, Ansell’s
premium line of surgical gloves is tested to ensure protection
against viral permeation. Encore® has been tested and passed
the viral penetration according to ASTM F1671-97a.
Embryo Use: This glove is appropriate and accepted for
embryo use.
Bone Cement: As long as the preparation and use directions
on the bone cement are followed, this glove provides a
protective barrier for handling mixed bone-cement product.
Skin Protection
This glove contains 50 ìg/g or less of
water/extractable protein per gram. Caution: Safe use of these
gloves by latex sensitized individuals has not been established.
Moisturizing: Encore® Underglove features HydraSoft Technology®
which utilizes two moisturizers: skin-friendly glycerine, which
attracts and retains water, and dimethicone, which prevents the
skin from drying out.
Comfort & Fit
Donning
Alcohol Resistance (Inner Coating): Ansell’s proprietary polyurethane inner coating will not break down. It is resistant
to alcohol-based hand disinfectants and adds another layer of safety between your skin and the latex.
Damp-Hand Donnability: Polymer coating for dry and damp-hand donnability.
Double Donnability: Thickness allows for easy and comfortable double-gloving. Can be used as an underglove,
or for individual use.
Hand Fatigue
Stretchability (Modulus): Because this glove is latex, wearers experience a more secure fit that provides
greater comfort without being baggy.
Shape of Glove/Former: Designed with Anatomical Curved Former for a more natural fit and less fatigue.
This exclusive Ansell former is the result of a staff dedicated to the development and continuous improvement
of formers.
Tactile Sensitivity
Dependability: Micro-thin design provides soft comfort and allows for fingertip sensitivity during double
gloving or individual use.
Grip
Application Driven: Anti-slip smooth finish prevents slippage.
This product contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions.
This latex glove contains 50 micrograms or less of total water-extractable protein per gram.
