STEP #l - GLOVE UTILZATION ANALYSIS
Your Ansell Clinical Consultant completes a detailed survey of each department's usage patterns and requirements, which becomes the basis for any recommended changes. The survey may
be followed by confidential interviews.
STEP #2 - CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL SURVEY
Your Ansell Clinical Consultant interviews personnel with special gloving needs, latex and chemical allergies, high risk of exposure to blood and body fluid pathogens or chemical agents. Unique gloving needs are incorporated into the program recommendations.
STEP #3 - RISK MANAGEMENT
Your Ansell Clinical Consultant meets with personnel responsible for employee's
health and safety and gathers information to identify unique needs regarding skin sensitization/irritation. From this survey, we can recommend alternatives for latex/chemical sensitive workers, and clarify costs related to Workers Compensation, retraining and reassignment issues.
STEP #4 - MATERIALS MANAGEMENT LIASON
We review with the Materials Management Department their specific needs with regard to ordering,
purchasing group and managed care affiliations, storage capabilities and other issues.
STEP #5 - FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
When the first four steps have been completed, we develop a confidential report that permits you to look more closely at glove selection and management as a whole, and identify steps that you can
take to reduce overall glove costs.
