VINYL
A low-cost alternative for short procedures
Vinyl tends to fracture and puncture more easily than other synthetic materials when stressed, and it may not provide the comfortable fit of other gloving materials. This is why vinyl gloves are recommended for short procedures that do not involve contact with blood or body fluids. Vinyl gloves do not contain latex proteins. Elasticity and memory are limited.
Any vinyl glove should only be used in low-risk, non-bloodborne pathogen applications.
