STRETCH VINYL
A comfortable alternative to latex
Stretch vinyl is a new petroleum-based, synthetic copolymer gloving material with plasticizers added for a more comfortable fit and feel. Our stretch vinyl gloves have a slightly higher tensile strength and tear-resistance when compared to traditional polyvinyl chloride gloves. This means you have the added bonus of less breakage, tearing, and waste.
Any vinyl glove should only be used in low-risk, non-bloodborne pathogen applications.
Original Tensile
Strength Standard: 1305 psi min. - Actual Value: 1450 psi min.2
Elongation Standard*: 300% min. - Actual Value: 400% psi min.2
*ASTM D 5250
2 Ansell's new stretch vinyl glove exceeds the ASTM standard for tensile and elongation.
