Yankee Alliance Selects Ansell Healthcare As Preferred Surgical Glove Supplier

RED BANK, NJ -- Ansell Healthcare Products LLC, a global leader in healthcare barrier protective products, recently entered into a two-year supplier agreement with Yankee Alliance, a healthcare group purchasing organization headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts.

The agreement offers Yankee Alliance members preferred access to the complete line of Ansell surgical gloves. In addition, Ansell will provide complimentary consultative programs to all Yankee Alliance members with an emphasis on glove management and utilization, risk management analysis, and continuing education programs.

Still providing the resistance and level of barrier protection expected from a nitrile glove, the new Micro-Touch® Nitrile now delivers a softer formulation for a more comfortable fit.

Micro-Touch® Nitrile examination gloves are 100% nitrile, eliminating the risk associated with natural rubber latex allergies. Moreover, they provide an effective barrier protection against a broad range of chemicals. Micro-Touch® Nitrile gloves are FDA approved for handling chemotherapy drugs.
